What it Means to Serve

Think of the word, 'serve'. What comes to mind? Community service? Tutoring? Babysitting? A requirement that some clubs in high school made you do? Maybe you thought about commitment, or being bound to do something. To serve is to give up something for someone else--to sacrifice. To serve is not only to fulfill a need, but to give up convenience and ease, and, instead, take up challenges and demands.
